Fix-It Ninget is the first book in the Planet Ninget series, that includes all the enchanting world-building and fantastical creatures of Dr Seuss, the charm and timeless humour of The Mr Men series and the crafted language and tightly structured stories of Julia Donaldson.
Written for read-aloud and reluctant readers, Fix-It Ninget provides rich and varied environments for readers to discover as we find the Ningets at home in peaceful forests, crunchy snow-capped mountains or wild and wondrous oceans. The colourful creatures are a celebration of Australia’s diversity in wildlife, cultures and landscapes, with a touch of wry humour that will also appeal to parents. This story also celebrates our unique differences as the characters learn to co-exist and find creative solutions to their everyday problems while learning simple moral lessons along the way.
This truly unique and delightful picture book was originated by the incredible imagination of
12-year-old student Luca French, and co-written by his award-winning mother, Sarah Dabro.
